Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial College of Education was established in 2003 at Dhudike, Moga, the birth place of Sher-e-Punjab, the great son of mother India on whom we all fell proud. it has been very wisely and emotionally nurtured by high spirited members of "SHRI GURU NANAK DEV EDUCATION SOCIETY" with a mission "To produce of scientific temperament imbued with missionary zeal".

The college has its roots from the chain of Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Institute of Management and Technology, Dhudike, Lala Lajpat Rai Institute of Art & Craft Teacher Training, L.L.R.M. Polytechnic and I.T.I, AJitwal and is the land mark the beautiful natural surroundings hardly 1.2 K.M. from AJitwal on Ludhiana-Ferozepur Highway. L.L.R.M. College carted the need and aspirations of rural section of our society and thrives to improves their life standard.

The college is accredited "A" Grade with CGPA of 3:14 by NAAC permanent affiliated to Panjab University Chandigarh, recognized by National Council of Teacher Education, UGC 2(f) & (12 (b) and approved by the Punjab State govt. The college has crossed the 21st ladder of progress and remarkable achievements under the sterling guidance of Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Umesh and missionary counselling of the management. The flame of academic and co-curricular positions procedured by the college within a short span of time, has spread over through out the state. It would be odd to sound but reality is that the college has organized such "State Level Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Cultural Competition" which no other college of education in the Punjab State has organized so far.

The college has a decent campus which stimulated learning in a conducive, creative and research oriented environment. The Classrooms, Laboratories, Workshops and Library are set and equipped with the latest technological equipments to be used for innovative and productive teaching-learning process and to develop effective teaching skills of the pupil teachers. Moreover, the management, principal and staff are committed to touch heights and still more heights in the fields of Education.
